This week I started at the top of Mt. Lemmon and hiked down the Lemmon Rocks Lookout trail until it reached the Wilderness of Rocks trail, which I then headed East on until it met up with the Aspen trail and back up the mountain. The large outcropping of the Lemmon Rocks is simply stunning, however I ran into rain and hail on my way back up the mountain, getting thoroughly soaked as well as wondering if lightening might strike nearby! This was a 7.2 mile hike with a total climb of 2300 feet. Here is the Google Earth video of my hike (full GPX file is available here):
